A small amount of red (hi) colour is perfectly balanced for this young koi

with a strong red colour in the places it's already come out and we expect the beni to come out further and end up with a classic red belly and red on the gill plates too over the next year or two

The sumi looking to break through on the white ground too adds to the pattern interest

Lovely motoguru too in the pecs, combined with the nose sumi set this showa pattern off particularly well. A very pretty showa. Unsexed.
